The POD and POP agreement of oil and gas fields 2011 was higher than the average POD and POP along the period of 2003 up to 2010, which was recorded 32 agreement given every year.
“We commit to build corporate culture, which is not bureaucratic through the acceleration of POD. Our commitment to process the agreement of POD is maximally 31 working days. This year we succeeded giving agreement of POD average only for 13 working days,” says the Head Division of Public Relations, Security, and Formality BPMIGAS Gde Pradnyana.
Meanwhile the agreement oil and gas lifting acceleration this year could be processed only for 10 working days from BPMIGAS commitment to give agreement of lifting acceleration at least for 21 working days.
He explained that BPMIGAS commit to hasten every activity process supporting oil and gas production and also adding new reserves including hastening the acceleration of POD oil and gas field which is firstly new in Jangkrik Field in Muara Bakau Block.
“By oil and gas additional, the number of proven oil and gas reserves on January 1st 2011 was recorded for billion barrel of oil and 104 trillion cubic feet of gas will become 3, 9 billion barrel of oil and 104 trillion cubic feet of gas on January 1st, 2012 because there was depletion of oil production 329, 9 million barrel and gas 3 trillion cubic feet this year,” he says.
National oil and gas production in 2011 reached 2, 4 million barrel oil equivalent. The achievement was almost equivalent to production of 2010 in which national oil and gas production was recorded for 2, 5 million barrel oil equivalent per day.
